Overwhelmed by a profound sense of immortality, we become critics of everything. Like well regarded champions of knowledge, we bully our imaginary followers to keep up the pace while we lead the whole of humanity to the next era of civilization.
And then, after we emerge victorious through the deepest depths of understanding about life, death, god and the inner mechanisms of existence, we decide to start again. But small. To change this world step by step by correcting all the lost souls around us. Point out all their little imperfections and help them understand them. Show them the way to the perfection.
But if we really need to do this, we need to start somewhere.
Look no further. Go the Underground, smile to the person next to you and ask them.
